12 CE Hours Required
Licensed Home Inspectors and Associate Home Inspectors are required, as a condition of license renewal, to complete a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education activities per renewal cycle (24 months). At least 4 hours must be dedicated to 266 CMR regulations including standards of practice, and at least 1 hour to professional ethics. The remaining 7 hours must be elective courses.

20 CE Hours Required
Each licensee shall obtain at least 20 continuing education hours of approved courses during the biennial renewal period. Continuing education activities shall be relevant to the practice of home inspection. At least 1 hour shall be building regulations including any recent revisions.
